ஊர்வன பறப்பன வுறுவன நடப்பன

ஆர்வுற வகுத்த வருட்பெருஞ் ஜோதி

Creatures which crawl or undulate

On land or in water,

Bird-beings which move by flight,

Trees and plants, the stationary sentient beings

Quadrupeds and bipeds who walk,

The OmniLight of Supreme Compassion has differentiated and organized all of them in abundant variety!

Note: The previous couplet 346 categorized life-forms in terms of the type of carrier of their emergence, e.g., egg, amniotic sac, soil, roots, etc. This couplet categorizes them in terms of locomotion, or its absence, and the mode of locomotion employed by them.
