It has no idols of any kind. In his first prose vinappam or petition, “The Short True Petition” (சுத்த சன்மார்க்க சத்தியச் சிறு விண்ணப்பம்) to Arutperunjothi or OmniLight, Ramalingam testifies that this Great Hall of Truth-Knowledge was built at the behest of Arutperunjothi or OmniLight as the locus and sign of its special manifestation and “Dance of Grace” (அருள் நடம்). This “Dance of Grace” expresses its five cosmic tasks of creation, protection, destruction or dissolution, obscuration or concealment, and illumination or revelation. The structure of this Great of Hall of Truth-Knowledge is a symbol of the nature-body-soul complex in which this “Dance of Grace” continues.

OmniLight Invocations 365

“Siddhi Valaagam” or “Abode of Adepthood”, Metukuppam, near Vadalur, Tamilnadu, South India, with the bicolored (Yellow and White) flag of Suddha Sanmargam hoisted in front of the house.  He was residing in this house when he raised the bicolored flag of Suddha Sanmargam on October 21, 1873, signaling both his own “Siddhi” or attainment of adepthood and the dawn of the epoch of Suddha Sanmargam marked by, among other things, the global attenuation and eventual dissolution of divisions based on caste, tribe, race, nationality, class, gender, and religion.

Painting by Vietnamese painter Le Pho (1907 – 2001) modeled after classic paintings of “Madonna nursing her baby” by Leonardo Da Vinci and others.

A reconstructed portrait of Chidambaram Ramalingam

Hindu mythological imagery of OmniLight Divine Mother

Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (1624) by Abraham Bloemaert: “In this parable from the Gospel of Matthew, the devil, identified by his horns and tail, sows weeds (or tares) in the field where wheat has been planted, while the lazy peasants are sleeping. Christians considered sloth one of the Seven Deadly Sins to which mankind was subject as a result of the Original Sin of Adam and Eve, to whom the two naked sleepers allude. The dovecote (a birdhouse to attract doves or pigeons that can be trapped for food without the bother of raising them) was associated with the morally lazy who take the easy way. The goat, known for its lust, alludes to self-indulgence, and the peacock, to pride. Bloemaert was gifted in depicting natural detail, but he never painted pure landscapes, preferring pictures with a lesson. He was one of the leading artists of Utrecht and trained many major artists of the next generation.” (Wikipedia)
