Notes:

The Tamil expression “ஓங்கார சத்திகள்” (Ongaara sattigal) refers to the divine energies of primordial sound Om (or Aum).

This couplet affirms that there are higher worlds of operation of these divine energies of Om.

In essence, Om is the divine energy of OmniLight in the form of pure, primordial, sound and vibration.

The previous couplet was on Vindu or the light-form of the divine energy of OmniLight. This couplet describes the divine energy of OmniLight manifested in the form of primordial sound and vibration.

The Arutperunjothi Agaval is Ramalingam’s magnum opus of spiritual enlightenment poetry composed in 798 couplets in 1872. In later posts, I will offer commentaries on these couplets.
